Sound stops when the screen turns off?

Brume plays through a standard Android media service, which survives the screen turning off on stock Android. Some manufacturers (Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, some Samsung power modes) ship aggressive "battery optimizers" that kill background media. If sound stops overnight:

Brume deliberately never asks for battery-optimization exemptions itself — no prompts is a promise.

I bought Pro and it shows locked

Open Settings → Restore purchases while signed into the Google account that bought it. Pro is a one-time purchase tied to your Google account, not to a device.

Why isn't Brume asking for any permissions?

Because it doesn't need any. Sounds live inside the app, and Android's media playback needs no runtime permission. That's by design and it will stay that way.

The timer didn't stop the sound?

The sleep timer fades over its final 30 seconds and then stops playback completely, ending the notification too. If you see otherwise, tell us your device model and Android version.

Send them in — Brume stays small and private, but the sound library will keep growing (Pro includes everything we ever add).
